Payment Protection

Life is unpredictable, at best. But paying off your loans in the event of death or disability doesn't have to create a huge burden on your or your loved ones. We have several optional payment protection plans that can make sure paying off loans isn't a burden should the unimaginable happen.

Protecting Yourself From the Unexpected

Several years ago, one of our members came to us in tears. She’d been diagnosed with cancer and could no longer work. She was upset because she couldn’t afford to make her car payment. It was truly heartbreaking. One of our branch managers did some digging and discovered that the member had bought a Credit Disability policy when she bought the car. Not only was she able to pay off her loan, we were able to reimburse her for the payments she’d made after her diagnosis. That’s how these products work. In a crisis, you have enough to worry about. You shouldn’t have to worry about making a loan payment, too.

Credit Life Insurance

If an accident or illness prevents you from working, this policy makes payments on your loan until you recover. (Or pays off your loan if you become permanently disabled.) Of course, we hope you never need to use it, but, like the member whose story was shared above, we hope you have it if you need it.
