Identity Theft Protection

Sound protection for modern times

Services that let you access your information on the go, transmit data at the touch of a button, and store it all in the cloud make life easier. However, that increasingly innovative technology comes with the risk of fraud, as hackers work to keep up with technological advances in order to steal your identity. It's not enough just to keep your passwords to yourself (although you should definitely do that). We, as your financial institution, have a responsibility to protect your information on our end.

We Offer the Tools You Need to Protect Yourself

We're happy to offer an identity theft protection program1 you can purchase for as little as $1.95 a month. It offers more extensive monitoring of your accounts both here and outside of Avadian. You can choose from three different levels of protection. It's easy to enroll, and the minimal cost you'll be paying is nothing compared to the cost of the fraud you'll be avoiding. Click here to enroll.

You can also set up your own text and email alerts through mobile and online banking. These alerts let you know when important transactions or events occur, like if your balance falls below a certain amount or a large withdrawal is made.

What You Can Do

Take advantage of the tools we offer. Let us know when you're going out of the country, on vacation, or traveling anywhere that's out of the norm for you — it helps us determine if we need to flag and/or turn off your account because of seemingly fraudulent activity. If you have plans to travel, you can even notify us straight through our mobile app .

And Seriously, Keep Your Passwords to Yourself

Most importantly, you can stay informed. We provide a wealth of information on how you can protect yourself from fraud — things to look for when you're shopping online, opening suspicious emails, creating passwords, and so forth. We also share information about the different and newest types of fraud out there. The more you know, the better armed we'll all be to keep you safe and protected from fraud.
